Katherine A. Hesse was recently appointed to a one-year term to the Massachusetts Bar Association Labor and Employment Section Council for the 2008-2009 Association year. Katherine will be acting as a legislative liaison for the council.
James A. Toomey was recently apointed to a one-year term to the Massachusetts Bar Association Public Law Section Council for the 2008-2009 Association Year.
Robert S. Mangiaratti has been appointed to a five-member panel with financial, legal construction and government expertise to study the financial viability of the Attleboro Redevelopment Authority and the projects it's running for the city. Mr. Mangiaratti is City Solicitor for the City of Attleboro.
Robert S. Mangiaratti was recently elected to a one-year term as President of the Massachusetts City Solicitors and Town Counsel Association (CSTCA). CSTCA is the oldest and largest bar association in the commonwealth dedicated to the practice of municipal law.
Edward F. Lenox was recently named as President-elect of the Massachusetts Council of School Attorneys. He will serve one year as President-elect before becoming President of the Council.
Katherine A. Hesse was appointed to a three year term to the Board of Directors of the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans. A nonprofit, nonlobbying organization since its inception over 50 years ago, the Foundation is the largest educational association serving the employee benefits and compensation industry.
